Ethnic Lobby Design
I wanted to do something different than my usual design style, both with colors and textures. Tried to give the space a feel of mirage, unfolding itself in the depth of perception.

We had to design the lobby and main restaurant space of a 5 star hotel whose style would be inspired from historical design themes.
My concept for this project was to reflect the luxury of seventeenth century France into a hotel interior from a new and graceful perspective, trying to incorporate modernism with classic French Baroque.
UNIVERSITY CAFE
Re-design

We re-designed Al Ghurair University cafeteria as a part of Studio. I was the team leader for this project where I managed the tasks every member will be doing, as well as designed the restaurant area and private ladies space.
The goal was to produce a logical, affordable and functional solution for the existing cafeteria space in our university.
AL-ANDALUS CAFE

The project is an in-mall coffee shop which is based on Islamic Andalusian design concept with more modern and sophisticated look.
Design inspirations are taken straight from the walls of Al-Hambra Palace in Spain, which is one of the richest resources of ancient Islamic art & design. Motifs & ornaments are made more simpler and geometric.
UAE Heritage
Hotel Room

Before modernization UAE was a land filled with simple and humble people who spent lives based on natural resources and their businesses were pearl diving and fishing mostly. My concept was to reflect the simplicity of UAE heritage in a way that shows sophistication with the feel of the culture.
The inspiration process has two parts, one part is inspired from the UAE local materials, clay, bricks, wood, wicker, which will be also reflected on the bedroom materials. The second part is the nature and culture of UAE. National tree Ghaf, traditional pattern, color, national flower, etc. will be implemented as the furniture, furnishing and upholstery.
