L I N E R S is a sleek, light-weighted chair designed by bending singular pieces of craft wire. The concept of the chair derived from the “Bismuth Crystal”, which has intricate layers of straight geometric lines stacked together to form the gorgeous crystal.
Furniture Pieces Inspired from Charles Rennie Mackintosh

Office Furniture Range
The inspiration source of this project comes from the famous high back chair collection of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his well known rose stained glass motif.
The furniture pieces will be created from abstract inspiration of the chosen theme, reflected in a simplified and modern way.
Charles Rennie heavily admired natural and simple organic forms rather than heavy cluttered designs. His designs, whether interior, furniture or stained glass, everything were sleek and simple designs and highly functional.
The philosophical meaning behind his famous rose motif is that it symbolizes mother nature and femininity. The oval shapes in the designs means the world as an egg or ovule or spec.

Tibetan Alphabet Furniture
Three pieces of furniture were created which were directly inspired from Tibetan alphabet. The letter we have chosen is not something we can bend, mold or give it a different shape without distorting its originality. But when we observe it more, a lot of possibilities for unique furniture pieces can be developed.

Office Workstation Unit Design
2018
The aim of this project was to design an office workstation unit which is multi-functional and flexible, can be used as individual unit or joined to become a small group meeting.
The design is inspired from the Golden Ratio Square by Fibonacci. A wide range of arrangements can be derived from this diagram.
